As a PHP Developer, you will develop scalable backend systems using PHP (version 8.x and above) and Docker. You will work with Symfony, Propel/Doctrine ORM and Composer. You will write clean, maintainable code that adheres to the SOLID principles, and you will ensure the highest code quality by conducting unit tests. You are familiar with agile processes and confidently handle Git conflicts, working with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. You will take ownership of your projects and actively contribute to the growth of our backend team.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in PHP development
- Bring excellent knowledge of PHP 7.x (or higher) and Docker
- Have hands-on experience with Composer, Symfony and Propel ORM
- Embrace SOLID principles and write maintainable, scalable code
- Not only know HTML, CSS and JavaScript but understand how they work together
- See unit tests as a valuable tool, maybe even work with TDD
- Handle Git conflicts confidently and are at home in agile workflows
- Have a solid understanding of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Want to take responsibility and help build our backend team

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Experience with Spryker or other PHP-based e-commerce systems
- Ability to maintain and further develop a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with IaaS platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP
